AI Training for Businesses

AI training for businesses, on the work you already do

OAK Agility runs Practical AI workshops for established businesses that have not put AI to work, or whose staff are trying it without a shared set of rules.

You bring a real task. A client email, a file note, a tender, a letter, a quote, a rota. We use a tool you already have, or help you pick one if you have not. People leave knowing what it is for, what to check, and what must not be pasted in.

We come to you, or we run the session live online, anywhere. Remote sessions will be priced for your country currency. On-site in England, Wales and mainland Scotland, travel is included. On-site anywhere else, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands and outside the UK, the fee is the remote price plus travel and accommodation, agreed before you book. OAK Agility is a UK company.

Delivered by OAK practicing experts who train teams and organisations for a living. An associate may lead the session. The workshop is training on your own work. It is not an accredited AI qualification.

Who this is for

These workshops are not for every business. They are for firms with enough people to put in a room, and enough money that a single day is a normal decision. A sole trader, and a company that already has AI engineers, are both the wrong room.

Four kinds of business are the best fit.

Accountancy and bookkeeping practices

Partners are busy. A lot of the week is still drafting, checking and explaining. Often one person is already using a free tool, and nobody has agreed what client information is allowed in it.

The session is for the practice team: client emails, management-accounts commentary, working-paper summaries, and a clear rule for what stays out. We are not your accountants. You keep the professional judgement.

Law firms

Smaller and mid-sized firms feel the same pressure in a sharper form. Fee-earner time is expensive, and a confident but invented sentence in a draft is not a small mistake.

The session covers emails, attendance notes and first drafts, with a person checking before anything is sent or filed. It is not legal advice. It does not replace your duties to your clients or your regulator.

Dental practices, vet practices and private clinics

The clinical decision stays with the clinician. The hours go on letters, recalls, explanations of treatment, and the admin around the chair or the consult.

This fits a group practice or clinic with a practice manager.

Construction firms with an office team

The useful work is not on the tools. It is estimates, tender replies, RAMS summaries and client updates. Construction firms are among the least likely to be using AI, and many quite reasonably think it has nothing to offer them. If you employ estimators and project admin, it does. If the business is one person and a van, it is too early.

Other businesses we will talk to

We will talk to property managers, manufacturers, wholesale firms, multi-site retailers, recruitment teams and established trades businesses, when there is a real office workload and the fee is comfortable.

Hospitality and haulage are under heavy cost pressure. A workshop is rarely the first thing those firms should buy. If that is you, and you still want a conversation, say so on the call. We would rather tell you to wait.

Very large organisations, with their own technology teams, can also reach out to us.

What people are actually stuck on

It is rarely that nobody has heard of AI.

In September 2026, 38% of UK businesses with 10 or more employees told the Office for National Statistics they were using at least one AI tool. Most were not. Where it is being used, it is often one person experimenting, not a way of working the team shares. Employees report using AI more often than businesses report adopting it.

The worries that stop a proper start are ordinary ones. The answer might be wrong. A client’s, a patient’s or a customer’s information might end up somewhere it should not. Nobody is sure what the firm is allowed to do. And it is not obvious which job is worth the trouble, so the tool sits unused.

Staff costs, National Insurance, the minimum wage, rates and energy have all risen. Getting more done with the people you already employ is a fair reason to look at this. It is not a promise that a workshop will cut your wage bill. We will not make that promise. Firms that use these tools more often report time saved than money saved. Time saved only helps if you spend it on work that needs a person.

What we do in the session

A short call comes first. We ask what the work is, which tools you are allowed to use, and what must not appear in any exercise.

Then:

  • What these tools are good at, and where they invent, miss, or sound certain when they are wrong.
  • Hands-on work on two or three jobs from your own week. Drafting, summarising, rewriting, comparing, preparing a first pass. Not a tour of every product on the market.
  • A written note of what was agreed, who owns it, and what the team will try in the next 30 days.

We work with a tool you already pay for, where we can teach it properly: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Grok, Gemini or Perplexity. If you have not chosen, we help you pick one to try. We do not sell licences.

The half-day includes one real task done together. A full day has time for more than one job, and a short follow-up call in the following month.

Why firms book this

This is for accountancy practices, smaller and mid-sized law firms, dental and vet groups with an admin team, and construction firms with an office. A client file, a patient letter or a tender is not something to paste into a tool and hope.

You leave with a rule the team has agreed: what can go in, what stays out, and who checks the draft before it is sent. The accountant, the solicitor, the clinician and the estimator still make the judgement.

The booking is the session. If you also want a system built, software connected, or a longer piece of implementation, that is a separate conversation, and there is no fee for it on this page.

We come to you, or we run it live online, anywhere. Travel is included on-site in England, Wales and mainland Scotland.

What we will not do

  • We will not certify that you comply with UK GDPR or any professional rule. We help you write practical habits. The obligations stay with you.
  • We will not promise a saving in pounds, a cut in staff, or a result borrowed from another client.

Practical AI Briefing

A briefing is for owners or partners who want the rules agreed before the team is in the room. A full day gives the team more than one job, and a short remote check-in afterwards. Ask for either on the call.

Practical AI Bespoke

For a director, an executive team, or a board. The session is shaped around the decisions in front of them, not a fixed agenda.

Outside England, Wales and mainland Scotland, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands and anywhere outside the UK, the on-site fee is the remote price plus travel and accommodation, agreed before you book.

Not included in the session price: software licences and legal sign-off.

How a booking works

  • You request a call, or you email hello@oakagility.coach.
  • We talk for about 20 minutes. If a workshop is the wrong next step, we will say so. If you want a system built, software connected, or a longer implementation, we will treat that as its own conversation.
  • You tell us whether you want a briefing, a half-day or a day, remote or on-site, and we agree a date.
  • We agree the tasks, the tool, and what information will not be used in the room.
  • We run the session. You get the written note. If you booked the day, the follow-up is in the diary before we finish.

Phone: (+44) 1865 965182. Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 UK time.

Questions people ask

Who are these workshops for?

Established businesses, usually with about 10 or more people, that have not put AI into daily work, or whose staff are using it without a shared rule. The closest fits are accountancy practices, smaller and mid-sized law firms, private dental, vet and clinic groups with an admin team, and construction firms with an office. We also talk to other firms with a real admin workload.

Do we need to be using AI already?

No. You also do not need to be starting from zero. A lot of teams have one keen person and everyone else waiting. Both are fine. If you want a system built, software connected, or a longer implementation, that is a separate conversation from this workshop, and we are willing to have it.

How much does it cost?

Prices start at £150 + VAT. Contact us and we will confirm the session you want. On-site delivery, a full day, and travel outside England, Wales and mainland Scotland are confirmed on that call.

What is the difference between remote and on-site?

The work is the same. We come to you, or we run the session live online, anywhere. Remote sessions are the same sterling price wherever you are. On-site in England, Wales and mainland Scotland, travel is included. On-site anywhere else, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands and outside the UK, the fee is the remote price plus travel and accommodation, agreed before you book.

Will you build a system or connect our software?

The workshop is training on your own work. We teach people to use a tool they can already open, and to check what comes out. We do not sell licences as part of the workshop. Building a system, connecting software, or a longer implementation is a separate conversation, and we are willing to have it.

What about confidential information?

We agree before the day what must not be used in any exercise. Client, patient and customer information stays out unless you already have an approved business tool and you have decided it may be used. We will help you write that rule. We will not sign it off as legal advice, and we will not tell you that you are compliant.

How many people should attend?

Up to 12 for a workshop or a day, so that everyone actually works. Up to 8 for a briefing. If you have more people, book a second session rather than squeezing them in. Include the person who will own the rule afterwards, and the people who do the work.

Do you only work in the UK?

No. The page is written with UK firms in mind because that is where we are based.

Is this an accredited course?

No. There is no certificate that counts as a professional qualification. You leave with notes, a shared rule, and practice on your own tasks. If you need a formal course credit, this is not it.

Tell us what the work is

If you can name two jobs that eat the week, we can tell you whether a workshop is worth it. If it is not, we will say that too. Building a system, connecting software, or a longer implementation is a separate conversation, and we are willing to have it. Or email hello@oakagility.coach, or call (+44) 1865 965182.
